About the program
NEP-AI is a new specialized track of the National Experts Program, created to prepare Emirati experts to harness the power of artificial intelligence in shaping the UAE’s future.
NEP-AI supports the UAE National AI Strategy 2031—bridging technology, leadership, and national development. It combines academic learning, mentorship, and real-world application to help participants.

The program runs from June 2026 to January 2027 and is delivered across seven modules. It is structured to equip participants with the technical, strategic, and leadership capabilities required to lead AI integration and transformation across key sectors of the UAE economy.
Participants engage in a range of learning formats, including interactive workshops, panel discussions, go-sees, and international study visits. The program requires an in-person commitment of one week per month.
