Eng. Abdulaziz Nabeel is a Senior Specialist in Innovation & AI at ADNOC, where he helps identify, evaluate, and scale emerging technologies that address critical business challenges across the energy sector. Trained as a chemical engineer, he developed a passion for solving complex operational problems and later expanded that problem-solving mindset into the field of artificial intelligence.

As part of ADNOC’s Technology and Innovation function, Eng. Abdulaziz contributes to technology assessment, innovation initiatives, and AI strategy development, helping ensure that emerging technologies are focused on solving meaningful business challenges and delivering measurable value.

Coming from the energy sector, Eng. Abdulaziz views artificial intelligence as more than an enterprise transformation tool; he sees it as a strategic lever for the UAE’s sovereignty, competitiveness, and long-term prosperity. Eng. Abdulaziz played a key role in the development of ADNOC’s AI strategy and led the AI Frontiers enablement program, which has trained more than 5,000 employees across multiple disciplines and empowered teams to build practical AI solutions for their day-to-day work.

Eng. Abdulaziz was recognized as ADNOC’s AI Champion of the Year for 2025 and received the Platinum Accelerator Award for his contributions to AI adoption and business transformation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Khalifa University, a Professional Diploma in AI Programming with Honors from the University of Sharjah, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
