With a proven record of delivering applied generative AI solutions within complex government and operational environments, Eng. Ahmed Alameri is driving the institutionalization of AI at one of the UAE’s most critical national agencies. He currently serves as AI Applications Specialist at the National Office of Weapons and Hazardous Materials (NOWHM), where he has developed and advanced GPT-based solutions for secure institutional use.
Throughout his tenure at NOWHM, Eng. Ahmed has successfully transitioned multiple AI initiatives from concept to operational deployment, authored executive-level reports aligning technical AI programs with organizational priorities, and championed digital transformation across departments to improve knowledge management and data-driven decision-making.
Eng. Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree of science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and has completed specialized certifications in LLMs, AI agents, and applied generative AI. He completed a six-month Future Foresight intensive program at the University of Dubai, strengthening his expertise in emerging technologies, scenario thinking, and long-term strategic planning.
