With over a decade of experience spanning academic research and industrial innovation, Dr. Nadya Mohamed leads the development and execution of technology portfolios and AI-enabled solutions for one of the region’s most strategic energy organizations. She currently serves as Team Leader of Technology at ADNOC Offshore, where she oversees the full lifecycle of emerging technologies.
She previously served as Specialist of Digital Emerging Technologies at ADNOC Offshore, implementing advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to optimize exploration and production processes. Prior to that, Dr. Nadya held the role of Senior Engineer of Instrumentation and Control at ADNOC Onshore, managing complex engineering projects and providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Rice University and as a peer reviewer for multiple prestigious IEEE publications.
Dr. Nadya holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Electrical Engineering from Rice University, an M.Sc. in Microsystems Engineering from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from UAE University. She has published extensively in leading IEEE journals and conferences, with research spanning FPGA-based hardware accelerators, LSTM network architectures, and wireless sensor networks.
