The National Experts Program (NEP) is designed for high-performing Emirati technical experts, specialists in their fields, who want to develop the ability to transform their sector.
The ideal candidate for the first edition of the NEP-AI is a determined learner who is passionate about the future of AI in the UAE in alignment with the goals of the UAE Centennial Plan and the UAE National Strategy for AI 2031.
- Eligible candidates must be UAE Nationals and have at least five years of professional experience, including relevant experience in AI. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate personal, academic and professional growth in addition to experience with managing transformative AI projects.

To complete the application, you will need the following files:
- A recent photo of yourself.
- Latest copy of your CV.
- At least one reference (three maximum). A reference letter (in PDF form) is optional.
- Supporting evidence of work on a transformative project (optional).
- A 1-minute video in which you present yourself, your vision of your sector, and why you are an ideal candidate for NEP (30 seconds in English and 30 seconds in Arabic) posted on YouTube with privacy set as “Unlisted”.
