NEP 1.0

Khalifa Al Suwaidi currently serves as the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the UAE Embassy in Tel Aviv, where he oversees the embassy’s Economic, Political and Media sections.

Upon graduating from the National Experts Program (NEP) in 2019, Khalifa was promoted to Head of Media and Content Section for His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates. 

In 2020, Khalifa was selected for a secondment in the private sector, where he lent his skills to Emaar Properties. Upon his return to the Ministry, Khalifa became Director of the Office of International Relations and Special Projects within the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The office oversees strategic country files for the UAE, including the United States, China, the United Kingdom, France, Israel and many others. In addition to these roles, Khalifa was also responsible for strategy development and the special projects of His Highness within the office. Khalifa credits NEP with accelerating the development of his leadership skills, which has enabled him to form a strong and broad network across an array of sectors, as well as broadening his vision and knowledge of the trends, technologies and skillsets needed for the UAE to achieve its national goals.

Khalifa holds a BA in Mass Communications and Graphic Design from the University of Sharjah.
