Dr. Ines Barreiros is an Associate Research Advisor in the International Programmes team at BIT, where she works on intervention design and evaluation across a range of policy areas. Some of her recent projects involved applying behavioral insights to increase vaccine uptake, reduce antibiotics prescription, counter corruption, and promote literacy skills in young children. Before joining BIT, Dr. Barreiros completed a Ph.D. in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Oxford. Her doctoral thesis focused on how the brain represents and processes information to allow for behavioral flexibility during decision making.
