As part of Module 6: Agile Leadership, NEP 4.0 partnered with the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation (SHF) for a focused session on Vision Development and Leading Transformation, offering experts a practical lens into how long-term thinking drives real-world impact.
The session featured a series of applied case studies from SHF leadership and collaborators, each illustrating how vision can be used to guide systems-level change.
- Aaron Fallon, Director at SHF, opened with a future-facing presentation on education, drawing on the foundation’s work to shape transformative learning environments.
- Safiya Al Maskari, Project Manager at Lest We Forget, and Meera Almutawa, Senior Project Manager at SHF, shared the UAE’s evolving sustainability narrative—illustrating how collective memory and national identity frame long-term environmental strategy.
- Maryam Al Dabbagh, Co-founder of Rouya Consultancy, and Khulood Al Atiyat, Senior Strategist at SHF, explored how culture, place, and narrative shape institutional transformation and social development.
Experts were then briefed on a new vision assignment, designed to connect these insights to their own sectoral journeys—bridging leadership, strategy, and national impact.
The partnership between NEP and SHF offered a unique window into vision as both a method and a mindset—reinforcing the importance of clarity, narrative, and purpose in agile national leadership.
