Trained in finance and seasoned in government, she is highly skilled at employing rigorous methodologies to analyze, understand, and address critical social problems while promoting a culture of well-being.

As Executive Director of the Family Cases Sector in the Family Care Authority – Abu Dhabi, Al Azri takes a hands-on approach to tackling challenges that impact the well-being of families, such as untreated health issues, financial hardships, or barriers to education. At the same time, she works at a high level to facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders in the public, private, and government spheres. Currently, she is leading the implementation of the Integrated Case Management model, a revolutionary approach to solving familial issues by addressing their root causes. Through this model, Al Azri leads the development of holistic interventions that support families in need, coordinating services from diverse entities in the community and government.

While the Integrated Case Management model is currently used in Abu Dhabi, Al Azri’s ambition is to implement it across the country as part of the UAE Centennial Plan 2071 for achieving the highest standards for well-being. To that end, she is focused on the meticulous classification of cases so that the model remains grounded in scientific evidence. Long term, she aspires to hold a strategic role in which she can leverage resources, coordinate services, and jump-start programs that further accelerate progress in health and well-being.

Prior to her current role, Al Azri served as a Financial Expert in the Department of Finance, where she prepared, reviewed, analyzed, and responded to budget requests from entities in the Executive Council. She also spent 10 years with Abu Dhabi Executive Council, first working as a Project Manager involved in government policy restructuring and later serving as the Chairman’s Advisor in the Department of Municipalities. As Manager of Social Affairs and Public Security Department, she honed her expertise in community well-being.

Al Azri holds a BA in Business Administration from the Higher Colleges of Technology and an MBA in Finance from Abu Dhabi University, graduating from both institutions with honors. She graduated from the National Experts Program in 2020 and completed the Frontiers in Finance program from the Emirates Foundation in 2022.
